The Kent County Road Commission is proud to announce that that it was the recipient of the ACPA Gold Winner in the Urban Arterials & Collectors category of the 18th Annual Excellence in Concrete Paving Awards (2007) for construction of a 4-inch white topping on Patterson Ave. in Kent County, Michigan. The one mile of five lane concrete pavement preservation treatment was performed utilizing night paving to assist in maintaining through traffic of 50,000 ADT.
