Charles J. Arnold is an engineer with 42 years of professional experience in highway and bridge engineering programs.
Prior to coming to the National Center for Pavement Preservation (NCPP), Mr. Arnold was a consultant in the Transportation Division of Rust / Earth Tech Engineering.
Previously, Mr. Arnold had spent over 37 years in highway and bridge engineering programs with a large state Department of Transportation (DOT) where he gained experience in materials, research, testing, and the design of a large statewide highway system. His last six years at the DOT were spent as the department's Chief Design Engineer.
Mr. Arnold graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Engineering Mechanics. He is a Member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and a registered Professional Engineer in Michigan.
