MPPP Task Forces

From time to time, a Partnership’s Board or Steering Committee may appoint working groups of persons possessing special knowledge or expertise for the development of programs, tasks, and activities, or to perform other actions which promote the objectives of the Partnership.

For their duration, each of the task forces (or action item committees) will have a leader(s), a defined work scope, a list of deliverable items, and an expected completion date.

Task Force	“Webinar / Roundtable”
Work Scope	Webinar – Develop panelist lead interactive webinars discussing pavement preservation fixes, materials, or other related content for an international audience of state, provincial, and local transportation agencies. Roundtable – Provide an interactive virtual peer exchange for Midwest state, provincial and local transportation agencies to discuss solicited topics including, but not limited to materials, specifications, construction practices, equipment, pavement management, etc.
Deliverable Products / Expected Completion	Webinar – Broadcast a new webinar quarterly and post the recording to the NCPP website in the video library. There is no expected completion date. Roundtable – Hold a minimum of two forums yearly. There is no expected completion date as these forums are driven by agency questions.

Work Scope	State Treatment Data Collection – Collect agency preservation data and post on the TSP•2 Website. Treatments and Specifications Database – Collect agency preservation treatment specifications and post on the TSP•2 Website.
Deliverable Products / Expected Completion	State Treatment Data Collection – Establish a database of state agency preservation treatments to include estimated treatment life, estimated pavement life extension from the treatment, and average treatment cost. Expected completion by June, 2017. Treatments and Specifications Database – Compile a list of state agency preservation treatment special provisions to include the number of years the specification has been in use, and an estimate of the degree of success the agency has experienced with the specification. Expected completion by December, 2017.

Work Scope	Identify needed highway research not being done or in progress.
Deliverable Products / Expected Completion	Needs statements for consideration by the Pavement Preservation University Transportation Center (UTC). Cost estimates for needed research.
